Thanks to the generosity of the Ralph Errington Fund, you can visit many of the best cultural institutions in the area for free! Kenilworth Residents with a valid library card in good standing can borrow Museum Passes for 7 days. Only one pass may be borrowed at a time. Passes must be returned to a staff member at the Circulation Desk.
The Academy of Natural Sciences at Drexel University
Two passes are available, and each pass provides general admission to the museum for 2 adults and up to 5 children in the same household. Additional benefits provided by the museum pass include free entrance into Academy festivals, including Paleopalooza and Bug Fest and 10% discount in the Academy shop.
Children’s Museum of Manhattan
Two passes are available, and each pass provides access to the Museum for 4 people at a time (2 adults and 2 children OR 1 adult and 3 children). Additional guests must pay admission to the Children’s Museum of Manhattan. All children under the age of 18 must always be accompanied by an adult. A patron may not be given two cards at the same time. Additional benefits include 15% discount on CMOM Store purchases.
VISITORS MUST PRESENT THEIR LIBRARY CARD UPON ENTRANCE, IN ADDITION TO THE CMOM MEMBERSHIP CARD.
Crayola Experience
Crayola Experience does not offer museum passes but will take $6.40 off ticket prices if purchased at the website listed and enter store name: KenilworthPL.
Elmwood Park Zoo
The individual pass provides general admission to the zoo for 2 adults and up to six children. It is not necessary to make timed reservations with this membership.
Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum
The individual pass provides admission for 2 adults and 2 children under 18 with free access to the Intrepid Museum, Space Shuttle Pavilion, and the submarine Growler. There is a 10% discount on family membership for library patrons.
Liberty Hall Museum
Four passes are available for free admission. Each guest requires a pass and children under 3 years old are free.
The Montclair Art Museum
Two passes are available, and each pass provides general admission for 2 adults and all children in the household.
The Morris Museum
The individual pass provides admission for 2 adults and 3 children.
The Museum of the Moving Image
Each individual pass provides admission for one person to the museum and one same-day film screening (excludes special events).
Newark Museum of Art
Two passes are available, and each pass provides admission for 2 adults and all children in the household. There is a 10% discount in the Museum shops.
New York Transit Museum
Two passes are available, and each pass provides admission for 2 adults and up to 4 children under age 18.
